Incorporated in 1989, seventeen communities were officially united as a borough. The communities were formed to empower these tiny groups of people with a louder voice together.

Pope & Vannoy Landing

Pope-Vannoy Landing in a Census Designated Place (CDP) in the Lake and Peninsula Borough. It first appeared on the 2000 United States Census. 

Most homes in Pope-Vannoy Landing are used only seasonally.
