Welcome to Lake and Peninsula Borough. The finance department works to make the interaction with the Borough as simple and minimal as possible while providing excellent customer service.
There are a wide variety of businesses that operate within Lake and Peninsula Borough. The only businesses that are tracked by the Borough are 1) fish buyers or processors, 2) lodges, motels or hotels, and 3) guiding services. These businesses are required to apply for business licenses and file monthly or quarterly tax returns depending on the type of business.

Payment of taxes, fees for permits, and land leases payments may all be paid using all payment options; credit card and e-check HERE.

YOU WILL STILL NEED TO SUBMIT YOUR COMPLETED TAX FORM AND ANY SUPPORTING DOCUMENTS EITHER BY MAIL OR EMAIL (preferred method is email).
You may need a Business License

- Lodging, B&B, or Hotel
- Campground
- Buy, sell, or process fish caught in LPB waters
